The realistic under-$150 picks
Flamingo, Horseshoe (formerly Bally's), Paris, Linq and Harrah's — all Caesars Rewards properties on the mid-Strip stretch — regularly hit $85 to $130 midweek off-season. Flamingo is oldest but freshly renovated in the Fab tower ($110 midweek February and October). Horseshoe has the WSOP tournament room and clean 2023-refresh rooms. Paris has the best rooftop pool view. All charge a $45-ish resort fee — factor that in. Excalibur, Luxor and Circus Circus regularly go under $100 but the rooms feel it.
Timing the deal
Sunday to Wednesday, mid-January to mid-February, first two weeks of December, and the week after Labor Day are the cheap windows. Book direct — Caesars and MGM often match third-party rates with better cancellation. Avoid: CES (early January), NFR rodeo (early December), March Madness weekends, any UFC or big fight night. Weekend Strip rooms almost never drop below $180 including fees. If your dates are fixed to a weekend, off-Strip locals casinos (Palace Station, Sam's Town) often stay under $100 all year.

Does resort fee include Wi-Fi and gym?
Yes at every Strip property — Wi-Fi, gym, local calls, and often two bottled waters. It does not include parking or breakfast.
Are cheap Strip rooms actually smaller?
Sometimes — Flamingo's older Go rooms are 350 sq ft, Paris standard rooms are 400 sq ft, Horseshoe's new tower rooms are 425 sq ft. All are fine for two adults; four is a squeeze.
